PPZ high-pressure pump: fit for heavy duties
Wimmer radial piston pumps are hydraulic pumps with a constant volumetric output. These pumps can handle very high operating pressures of up to 700 bar. They are commonly used to supply hydraulic systems with pressure oil. Our PPZ high pressure pump is available with up to 3 pistons and amongst the smallest pumps in our range in terms of size. Yet this pump is perfectly suitable for heavy-duty jobs!
A high-pressure pump built to last
The PPZ pump is available with 1, 2 or 3 pistons. Within these ranges, you can choose from plungers with a diameter of 6 or 9 millimetres that can generate a pressure of up to 700 bar. Plungers with a diameter of 10 millimetres are also available. Although these are only capable of a maximum pressure of up to 500 bar. The displacement of a plunger divers between 0,21 and 1,77 cubic centimetres.
Due to the optimised weight of the design we make the pump housing of high-strength light metal. To ensure that maintenance is kept to a minimum, the bearings are generously dimensioned and all wearing parts such as the eccentric shaft, pistons and valve unit, are specially hardened and polished.
Twin, multiple or combination pump
The PPZ radial piston pump is also available as twin or multiple pump in order to increase the maximum output. Or you can connect it directly to a gear pump. Besides, all WIMMER radial piston pumps, with the exception of the one-cylinder pumps, are available with several pressure connections. The maximum number of pressure connections depends on the number of pistons.
